After the wedding, we spent some time mellowing out at the Pine Grove Zoo. The last time we'd been there (probably before Belle) it was a row of about 6-7 cages, with a cougar, a couple of bobcats, foxes, and a bear. Now it has grown into a beautiful park zoo with large enclosures, a petting zoo, and 3 adorable bear cubs! We spent a lot more time then we thought we would, but it was well worth the three bucks. Quinn wasn't too interested, but Belle really liked the turkeys and feeding the burros. Note: The now-constant companion is "Dragonfly" and Belle cannot sleep or leave the house without him. He gets fed several times a day, sometimes from Belle's kitchen, sometimes her plate, and sometimes he even has a bite of Mommy's food. He can often be found swaddled in a "Yankie" (blankie) and likes to play hide and seek. Don't worry, a back-up has already been put in rotation. ("Look, Belle, Dragonfly had a bath! Isn't he clean?!)
