A Day at the Zoo
Not so very long ago, we accompanied our good friends, Holly, Josie, and Holly's bunintheoven, to the zoo and new aquarium. We had a great time- we not only fed the giraffe, we fed some stingrays. Quinn donated a pacifier while we were there, while Belle proclaimed a group of black monkeys had "long butts". (Why can't monkeys wear pants?) Belle enjoyed hauling Quinn and Josie in the wagon, and would get a little upset when I would steer her around obstacles, such as people... We did go into the petting zoo, but I was too busy shielding Quinn from getting trampled and nibbled on to take pictures. Our longest lasting souvenir from that day is the animal feces that won't come off of Quinn's shoes. She found a similar souvenir in Sandy Eggo- she stepped in a duck's pile... What do they eat? Cement and chewing gum?
