Yup, it is all about timing. Here's the set-up: Belle was going to get her 3-year pictures done soon AND we are going to be visiting relatives and to a wedding where many photos will be taken. Here's the punch: Belle was running through a department store and when she turned her head to tell Mommy "I'm running!" she ran right into the corner of a display. Now she is the new owner of five stitches, her first doctor-required injury. 
The good part is she only needed stitches- she didn't get a concussion or other damages. The worst of it was going to an urgent care facility to get the stitches- the doctor was nice, but the waiting involved Quinn waking up and creating bad diaper smells that leaked out the side. Belle was a good girl, only crying when the doctor sutured, not struggling at all. Poor sweet girl.

Congratulations on the dedication! Sorry we couldn't make it. I guess you had two right of passages recently, with the trip to urgent care, as well. Have a nice trip.
