Maybe they were inspired by their mom's recent sewing adventures. Maybe it was playing with Daddy's childhood toys. Or maybe it was the right time of day. Belle's project was a flyboat ala "WonderPets". The mast came from a Fisher-Price toolkit circa 1978. The greatest thing for her was that she could now load Dragonfly into the flyboat with the WonderPets. Note the stylin' sail made out of a tissue. Belle insisted on the "W" and picked out the colors. Sean put wheels on the flyboat later, also at Belle's request.

Okay, so maybe the diaper-hat wasn't Quinn's invention. She did try to put it on her head, though- we just gave it form and fit. What a girl. If she wasn't having fun, trust me, she would let us know. She has no problem telling everyone in the room when she's unhappy. Quinn has been working on her independence lately, which is interesting. Now she usually just wants Mommy to hold her when Mommy is making dinner or doing other important tasks. Since this is a conflict of interests, there is usually some crying and time-outs, sometimes for both parties. Quinn is becoming less of a little baby every day... Sigh... No, MOM, that does NOT mean I want another one!
