Belle and Quinn are on the move- from the snows of Colorado to the beaches of California, their carseats are getting well broken-in. We only spent the weekend in San Diego, but accomplished 2 very important tasks- Belle finally got her first Taco Surf shirt! The second- why, the visit to the Skechers store, of course! Sadly, only Belle and Sean got new shoes... Belle and Quinn went in the pool- Belle with a lot of drama, and Quinn as though she'd been swimming every day. Quinn didn't get to the ocean this trip, but will surely get her share of sand-eating done next time. Belle went to the beach with her daddy and Grandmom- and came back wearing sand head to toe. Her father thought it would be great fun to bury her in the sand, and so did she. The last time she had that much sand on her she was making sand-angels... It took 2 baths to get off all the sand- and 2 times in the washing machine to get it out of her swimsuit. Speaking of washing Belle and her clothes- in the midst of unpacking, Belle found my make-bag and proceeded to destroy a new brush and lipstick. She used the lipstick to coat the brush, then would use the brush on her face- I'm guessing she came up with that idea after she broke the lipstick during application. Anyhow, that combined with the left-over spaghetti sauce on her face made for a very interesting look- part clown, part pre-rehab Courtney Love. It's a good thing she likes her baths. Quinn is going to have to work very hard to out-do her big sister's mischief... I guess I'll always have something to write about...
